Prairie Naturals Vegan Vitamin D 2500IU is extracted from sustainable plant-based source of Vitamin D3 derived from lichen and D2 from organic mushrooms that is suitable for both vegans and vegetarians.
Medicinal ingredients: Each V-Capsule contains:
Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol)……50 mcg (2000 IU)
Vitamin D2 (Ergocalciferol) …… 12.5 mcg (500 IU)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Cautions & Warnings: 15-20 mcg (600-800 IU) of vitamin D per day is an adequate quantity for most individuals. Consult a health care practitioner/health care provider to determine if you would benefit from additional vitamin D before taking this product. Consult a health care practitioner/health care provider prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney disorders, if you take any prescription medications including antacids, anticonvulsants, digoxin, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, steroids, statins or thiazide diuretics, if you take other vitamin D supplements, multivitamin supplements containing vitamin D, or products containing vitamin D analogues or if you take any prescription medications including thiazide diuretics.
Contra-Indications: Do not use this product if you have hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria.
